So I thought I'd turn down the radio to just listen for a moment the other day, and I noticed (and feel) that something's up with the front end (of my 99 S-10) but I can't put a finger on it.

Best way I can think of it: feels like big rims on freeway stutter bumps...I don't have rims though... I'm hearing more road noise than usual, and at about 35-50mph it's the worst. It's the same in gear or in neutral.

Tire pressure is fine, airride seems fine, and i didn't see anything obvious in the quick check I did this morning.

might be your wheel bearings up front those things are tempermental sometimes they just go like that best way to check is jack up the frontend and try to wiggle the wheel that will help you find any of the other problems described as well you just have to have someone watch and tell you what moves

yea, jack it up and wiggle it, a wheel bearing will usually give you a roaring noise i believe. side to side mwiggling only checks tie rods unless your wheel bearing is about to break off. try lifting it up and gettin a LONG ROD (haha) put it under the tire and pry up on the bottom of the tire, if you have play it is usually a ball joint. inspect balance of the rim and tire obviously.
