well since no one wants my truck im just gonna keep puttin money in2 it......so now im lookin at the roadgrater. I want somethin that will look and ride nice and let me lay on the 20s n this seems like its the way 2 go. I want pretty much the full rear clip like it comes with and no one that i have seen sells backhalves...but then again ive only been lookin 4 like a week so i dunno.....i wanted to keep my bed as not cut out as possible so i just wanna kno what everyone thinks about the roadgrater that has seen/ used it and if theres any alternatives which is as easy to install and comes w the notch ,bag brackets, and shock mounts.....thanks

you can suicidedoors 3 link with sleeve bags. the problems with the roadgrater is the price, the gas tank crossmember rips and the shock tabs break, resuilting in sleeve bags pulling apart b/c there is nothing to limit them. Also if you are not running a big 20" tire, it wont get full lift, you will want to space the bags up to get the most of the kit. The use of 103549559640 bolts is very ugly also.

yea...the bolts dont really worry me and im running a 245 35 20 so i guess lift isnt a problem......but if i welded better shock tabs then i shouldnt have to much of a problem? and do u gotta run sleeve bags on them?

keep the sleeves, they ride way better and get you more lift. the shock mounts have been improved and i havnt seen em break since. the price is up there but its the only 100% bolt-in s10 kit out there, very easy. you still have to cut a good sized hole int he bed, no way around it.

on the roadgrater, yes.. and that tire isnt taht tall.. that system is made for a 28" tall tire.

you could weld on that but what about the gas tank crossmember? and why spend 1500 i think it is for the ART Roadgrater, when you can buy one of the thorebeck setups for cheaper and be stronger

easy bolt on?....lol....and i guess ill get a fuel cell b4 i put it on....easiest way out.

one of the main reasons to buy a kit like the RG is to keep the stock tank, if youre gonna go with a fuel cell then id just do a custom 4link. sure it wont be as easy but itll look better and cheaper for sure.

well i mean for now ill keep the stock tank....as long as it doesnt hit the ground like it did b4 the 20s......and i mean it seems like a pretty good investment since its all bolt on and you know its made right......just bolt up shocks and bags and the frame clip and your done..i drive it everyday so quick installation seems best

oh ya....with me already havin my notch in am i gonna have problems w the install of the roadgrater?

you already have a notch welded in? damn dude i wouldnt get the RG then, thats way too much of a hassle.
