Contests..

yea man... Showtruckscene.com has one that I requested we should have there...every 2 months given thats the buffer for people to decide to enter, decide what to do with the given entry, and apply what they invision lol... basically you have 1 - 2 months each contest. Right now it is a "Photography" contest which is slow b/c of the lack of entries.

I was shocked to get the Mag here in Oklahoma as fast as it did. Usually doesnt show up for 2 more weeks. The contest is the same one we had on SSM 2 yrs ago (that Nick won) with the Bonspeed wheel design. Same idea same prizes 1st gets a free set of wheels, 2nd gets $500 off a set of wheels, 3rd gets $500 off a set of wheels. I just hope that Mike has worked out alot more details than the SSM contest. There can be alot more said about this contest but it has all been said in the past. So I will leave it alone.

see the dilema is im afraid to enter cause im afraid if i win, people are gunna complain simply because mike chooses the winner.
and people are gunna know that me and mike WERE working together, and think that hes just picking his friends work.
technicly when i enter my entry and when the winner will be chosen i wont even be doing work for mini truckin so i think it is perfectly fair.
the main reason i want to enter is to represent who i strive to be. i want to be know as one of the top artists. and i feel like if i dont enter, it will only hurt my image=) i want to enter to beat everyone else=) lol i dont even care that much if i win anything=)
as sad as it sounds all i want is to beat everyone. i sound like such a horrible person dont i. lol sorry. if i win id probably do somethin cool with the wheels. like raffle em off or somethin, who knows.

I think a monthly contest here would be cool I guess. Only for like beginners and amatures. Itd might help me get back into renderings lol. Just graphic design in general ha. Im tryin to get into movie production.

so why dont you guys throw together your own contest. thre doesnt have to be prizes. ive thrown a few. its fun. just slap up a car and say go to town.=) heck i might even throw in a free dvd. hit up the guys here at streetsource to do it again and give away memberships like before.

that would be kool a dvd and a membership lol im tired of counting my post count ...ha why dont i just pay huh? i will just not now.

i wont be entering,aint got time for it and i wouldnt agree with someone that works for or worked with the mag throwing it being entered into it. just my 2 cents. i hope nick does get to enter it though. he does some sweet designs. besides we have designed 5 wheels in the past year that are or were in production and was asked just last week for a quote to design 3 more so id rather just get paid instead of taking the chance of doing something for nothing. my times worth more then that to me. good luck to those that enter. cant wait to see what everyone comes up with.
