the pcv valve on my valve cover broke when i tried to close my hood after the bodydrop. I have another off another valve cover, but it's too tall to close the hood. I don't want a hole in my hood for this. What's everyone doing to solve this delima. I ain't lowering my engine just for the pcv valve.

if you can, put the pcv valve at the end of a hose and use the hose to connect to the valve cover

there are two different types of valve covers, one with a PCV that sticks up and one that sticks out the front. If you already have the valve cover that sticks out the front then the only thing you might be able to do is cut the hood webbing a little.

pie cut the fenders for hood clearance.

well I have the kind of cover that the pcv valve is coming straight up outta the valve cover. hopefully i can find a different one. I already got the webbing cut out of the middle. it's acually hitting the hood skin itself. either that or I am gonna plug that hole and put another one further back for the pcv valve. like on the back side.

Take yours to a salvage yard and see if they will swap you...

I'm buying a new motor and tranny so the whole shebang will be for sale here shortly.

I dont know if I will sell the Magnum valve cover though, I have owned a LOT of mazdas and thats the first one I ever saw.

they are very common valve covers with the PCV out the side like that, you wont have a problem finding one
