Fiberglass console

I'll be getting my celica buckets in my Tacoma at the end of the week(and my rims) so i wanna start on a fiberglass center console. I got 2 10's i'm gonna put in it, which is no problem, but i also wanna put my Ipod in it if i can, which idk how to do and still have something to charge it

If you got any ideas let me know, and post some pics of you consoles too

how does your ipon charge in teh firs place? with a cellphone style cord or does it sitt in a holder?

for right now its a cell phone type that goes to a cig lighter, but i didn't really plan to use that in the console, i just wasn't sure of any other products to use

Inverter is all you need to run. If you're electrically/wiring skilled then you can cut it into your starter wire that hooks to your stereo and turns your amps on when you start your ignition. Usually your inverter will wire to your battery I believe. I'm sure someone has the diagram somewhere on wiring that up, if not, swing by a stereo-install store and they'll explain it. It's an easy process, we used to do it with radar detectors back in the day so it was cleaner.

my wire consists of putting the wires in the amp, lol

I was thinking of made a docking station i could mold into the console, maybe just run it under the console to the cig oulet or something

yeah but if you want to save the cig outlet, and still have it, and go for even a cleaner look, I'd hardwire it. I would mold a little pod in the console though, keep it clean, if you're gonna do it, do it right

well i'd run it all underneath anyways, it would plug into you of the extra cig lighters at the bottom of the dash and the console would cover it up completely, the just run the wire up thro the consoleto the ipod

It would all be consealed and its simple, i think it'd look pretty good if i took my time

cut the cig plug charger off, and use that wire to hardwire(T Tap)into the back of the sig. lighter. so you can save all the sig lighter outlets

well that's just it, i don't need them, i've never used them for anything except my ipod. And i'll stil ahve the regular one up near my cd player if i need one for a phone or something
