i know everybodys got there own theorys but i keep seeing the videos of,what looks like spot lights at the back of peoples trucks does any body drag there trucks like the ones you see in domination video?my truck doesnt drag its frame its about an 2" shy i just wanna get it right the first time without destroying my truck on accident. thanks alot to everybody who leaves comments and everybody who helps out aloha!
build it to lay and drag frame, you should get some sparks, or you could get some drag blocks but thats more like comproising whats right IMO, good luck
I've heard of people plating the botton of their frames w/ thin plates of steel (1/8", 3/16") so the frame itselft isn't dragging but whichever way floats your boat.
when i drug my truck in the first lowlife video for that long it was all frame thats why i blistered the air line. i have since then plated the bottom of my frame with some 1/2" cold roll but i don't drag the truck like that anymore for obvious reasons. i still like to drag it just not for miles at a time at 70. a really good source for drag blocks are your old leaf springs. when you see the trucks in the videos from my club alot of the time i will cut up old springs and weld them on to frame so that they aren't destroying there frames, its also alot better than the big ass blocks some other clubs in az use. they attach easy and last and there cheap. but i agree don't worry about sparks till your shit hits the ground then repost this if you need help then.
yea the more corse the road the more sparks fly,and 2 hardboby 88 i put them on my frame in between the arms and at the end of the frame in the rear that touches the ground
