THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY ON THE 4.3 S10/BLAZER HAS A SMALLER HEIGHT BECAUSE OF A MUCH SHORTER DEPTH IN THE S10/BLAZER OE GAS TANK. THE 4.3 SILVERADO OF COURSE WITH THE PROBLEM YOU ARE HAVING DRAGGIN' IT IS IT IS TALLER IN DEPTH AND SO IS THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY. NOW BOTH S10/BLAZER AND SILVERADO FUELPUMPS MAY BE SPRING LOADED BUT THE SILVERADO WILL NOT FIT IN THE S10/BLAZER OE FUEL TANK. YOU CAN USE THE S10/BLAZER FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY FOR YOUR SILVERADO BECAUSE BOTH RUN ON THE SAME PSI, BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO SPLICE FUEL LINES AS FAR BACK TO THE FUEL PUMP BECAUSE THE CONNECTIONS MAY BE DIFFERENT BUT JUST CHECK. IN MY BUDDIES 98'SILVERADO WITH THE 4.3 HE WAS ABLE TO GET HIS HAND ON A USED S10 FUEL TANK BUT HE HAD TO PURCHASE THE S10 4.3 FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WHICH WAS ABOUT $300 FROM CARQUEST IN NEW MEXICO. RAN FINE...OH YEAH DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE OUT YOUR FUEL PUMP USE THE SAME SILVERADO, BUT CHANGE IT SO YOU DO NOT RUN INTO ANY CLOG UP PROBLEMS DOWN THE LINE. ANOTHER OPTION IS BUILD REBUILD GAS TANK SUPPORT BAR TO RAISE THE TANK HIGHER OR LIKE IN MY SDIME I HAVE NOT RAISED MY FUEL TANK SUPPORT BAR SO I SPLICED LINES AND WIRES SO THAT MY GAS TANK SITS STRAPPED TIGHT IN MY BED...LET ME KNOW HOW YA COME OUT ON THIS ISSUE!
