I need to know what the different colored wires are for in the rear of my truck. I have a:BlackWhiteYellowLight BlueGreen Dark Blue (or green. I can't tell)

The reason I ask is my license plate light won't work. Also, where would the fuse be for my light?

they are the wires you use so when you do use a trailer, you can tap into your lighting system...

OK mang....i will try to get this pdf file hosted, but till then, this is how the wires go..

White -Gound wire
Yellow -left turn signal
Dark green -right turn signal
Light Blue -stop signals
Lt Green -back up lamp
brown -Parking lamp
Green -dont know
Black -dontknow

i am going to assume the black wire will do what the brwn wire will do in the schematics and the green will do what the lt green does in the schematics.

The schematic shows that the fuse for your parking lamps are under the hood, So i would think that you have a ground thats disco'd from your licence plate lamps or the bulbs are burnt or the sockets are bad. i dont know the NBS that well....hopefully this helped...
