From those connectors, I always run 18 gauge wire out to the valves, and I've never had a fire- yet!!FWIW, Home Depot carries a kick-@$$ wire for valves- 18 gauge, 4 conductor, sound and security wire. It's around $.30 per foot, but it's jacketed and shielded, so you won't get any "pops" in your stereo when you hit a switch. Hope that helps!

Thanks Phil. That wire is short, and it looks like it may be 22gauge or smaller. I will just give a shot without relays, if it burns the wires up, I guess I will just rewire it, or do something different.
