I keep reading about swapping 720 brake boosters for other models. I've heard of Hardbody ones being used as well as cars and such. Can anybody give me any clue as to what works best and what I need to make it work so I can get this monstrosity off the firewall? Thanks.

I myself owned a 82 Datsun with the same problem & when I had hydraulics installed in the front the cylinders were hitting the brake booster. So...I had a buddy of mine who ran a local brake shop install a brake booster & pedal assembly out of a 91 harbody & it worked out great. We did have to do alittle fab to get it all to allign up, but it was a pretty easy thing to do. Hope this helps you out.

Okay..so we've established that a Geo Metro booster will work. Now show me some pics of one installed and let me know what has to be modded for it to work PLEASE!!

I already told ya how to fix damn kids they never listen to ya & like cole i never had a problem w/ mine either (prolly due to the backspacing on my 17's 5.5" )

Due to the extreme amount of drugs I did in my early childhood years I have very short term memory as to what you told me. Instead of spending a couple hundred bucks on drop spindles I choose to spend 3800 on other things to fix the problem.

get some freakin drop spindles ya freak!!!!

oh yeA!!

LOL...what fun would that be though. I prefer to test the fabrication skills of everyone involved with my projects.
