When you get bed liner put in, weather its the roll in, or spray in, how thick does it go? and how much metal work do i really need to do? is it going to fill up in areas ? how sensitive to metal blemishes is it? i have my bed floor all custom built and there are still some small gaps left and some roughness, wondering if i should use some duramix to patch up some stuff before getting it sprayed. Or am i good to go?

most bedliners dont really get put on that thick in my opinion..they dont really do that good of job of covering things up..id get it as smooth as u can..

It depends on hwo is spraying it and if they know what the hell they are doing. I have seen where they can cover a 1/2 inch gap no problem but then I have seen where you can see spot welds, I think it actualy depends on the type of liner .

I just got my bedliner sprayed... I wouldn't leave any gaps! You might want to grind down any welds a little bit, but not necessary to do them all the way down. I completly smoothed out around the tubs and the top of the bedsides... all the rest of the welds were left barely grinded... and after Line-X... you can barely see the welds at the bottom. It turned out nice.

So my suggestion would be smooth out the walls/tubs and stuff close to the top of the bed... but towards the bottom they can build up the liner... so it will hide more..

if you have gaps, use a seam sealer to fill them and any spots that werent welded before u get them line-x'd it will make for a better turnout, cuz it will look nice and smooth

yeah thats what i thought too. i mean i got the shit damnnnnnnnn smooth in some areas, but im thinkni about the seam sealer for around the edges of the tubs and side walls. its all going to be covered up with wood, but i dont want to half ass nothing
