anyone know where i can get some drop spindles for an older body caprice? if they arent available what would be the best way to get it down wtih a bag? custom control arm ?

nope, s-10s will not work...b-body drop spindles are available tho, im not sure who all has em but im thinkin alotta the major brands should carry them

It's my understanding that the older (box) bodied caprices sit on the same frame and suspension as the 91 and up caprices. If that's true then I'd pick up some Belltechs at Summitracing.com for $299.00

79 to 81 camaro is the same part#, western,or superior spindle. I have westerns on mine.

77-96 Caprice use the same chassis with VERY minor changes. You could swap a '96 chassis into a '77 car without much difficulty. Buy Belltech spindles for the '91-'96 Caprice and you'll be fine. If anyone tells you that Camaro or S-10 spindles of any year are interchangeable they're just plain wrong.

I have a friend who just bought a 78 Impalla. I'll try my spindles on his whenever I get around to buying them.

Call any chevy dealership and have them cross reference the part #s you'll find that many chevys,buicks,olds and so on use the same spindle as the caprice.
