Well, I been thinking about the extended cab shortbed dually, or crew cab shortbed. Does anyone have a link to the wheelbases, or some drawings of lengths of cabs, beds, etc. Would a regular cab longbed be the same wheelbase as an extended cab shortbed, or close enough to make work? I saw dumpbed 93 today that was a regular cab. Thinking about a swap to an extended cab, because cabs are pretty easy to find around here, with a shortbed. Comments or help? Wheelbase and cab/bed lengths?
Thanks,
Chad

just google it man. Ive walked into the ofice at the shop many times and looked up wheelbase info only minutes before welding in a 4 link on a truck lol.

the easiest thing to do would to get the extended cab are crew cab take the long bed off put the short bed on measure how much needs to be cut out and cut the frame, and just put a sleeve made out of square tubing in the inside of the frame where they meet and weld it to the frame on the inside then weld the outside would be the easiest way, just make sure the welds are solid

gmupfitter.com is going to be your best friend...... if you can figure out how to find what you are looking for, not the easiest site to navigate.

you have to know th body style codes and things along those lines. but if ya dig through and look at it long enough i bet ya can figure it out.

could be your freind. go to used cars then reseach and specs. put in the truck your looking into then the stlye (long bed crew, etc) then specs. its a great source for specs on pretty much every car.
