How Come?

clearly there is a reason no one does this but i cant figure out why cuz im not intelligent enough haha,hence the question.

How come on a air suspension setup u cant run your dump valves back to your tank? i mean instead of dumping the air out in the open, why not back in to your tank? i guess u could say, recycle it. im guessing it wouldnt work for pressure reasons maybe!?!

i had about 18 beers in me and i was staring at my rear setup on my truck and i thought about this. and we all know drunk and thinking dont go together so pardon the stupidity.

because most of the time the pressure in the tank is greater than in the bag

plus it would have 2 have a way 2 compress it into the tank without flowing back into the bag

I remember reading on a setup along time ago that dumped the air back to the compresser he had video and everything and was supposed to make a kit dont ever know what happend to that though

because when you open you baag you either put less than the pressure in the tank into your bag ( which would cause it not to have enough force to go back into the high pressure tank).. or you have equal pressure( which would mean if you tried to dump it into the tank its the same as your fill valve... the pressure is the same so nothing will force it anywhere) or your bag pressure is higher than your tank pressure( which means you will open your dump into the tank and then they will just equal out at a certasin pressure and your truck would not go all the way down)i dont know if my explanation made much sense but its a pressure thing... everything flows from high to low until it equals out.

go to the s10 forum and look up djdaudio. he has a kit that uses the air in your bags to help the compressor run better. doug's s10 can run non stop. he's hell'a smart.

It is possable but you need to do a few tricks.

I have patent pending on this system and when finaly fully life tested it will be out in the market

I have about a 1.2 sec fill time fron 165-200PSI at idle

damnit doug, so what your sayin is if i woulda thought about this earlier in life i coulda sold a kit a made some money!?! just think if i woulda only started getting drunk at a earlier age i could be rich by now. thanks everybody for the responses, wanted to see if it was possible or not and i guess it is. thanks again.
