what size tires for a daily driver

i have a full size 86 chevy c-10,with 20''wheels, truck is bagged. what would be the best size tires for a daily driver,i live in oklahoma and the roads really suck.kinda wanted to stay with a 35 series tire.please help

255/35/20 is what i run in my blazer which use to be a daily. they were fine on a 8.5" wide wheel. oh and FYI i ran goodyear HP ultra plus rubber and its a hard compound and they had awsome wear.

anyone else i really need some help, fixing to buy some new tires.

i have a 93 f/s chevy with about a 6/8 drop i drive every single day and run the same goodyear tire as chris dogget. bad ass tire

5/7 on 255/35/20 no rub on wheel well.
