basically will i be able to get a Mac Strut front end lower with juice as opposed to air struts? ive heard rev flow cylinders suck ass, just to mount the normal flow cylinders upside down. will this work and does anyone have pics of a Mac Strut front end that is juiced this way.

Thanks

juice is easier to get to lay but air is a bit more efficient IMO and less maintenance, juice requires seal changes, fluid changes, battery charging, not really as self contained as air but it is better for getting low, i love juice on ay CAR but i also agree that juice is for breakfast. good luck deciding

yes you will be able to easier make your car lower in the front with hyd. rams.
reverse flow are awesome if you can find them. it takes about 10 minutes to put reverse rams in the front of your car and be ready to go. but i will also agree wiht mr rail it above, hydro's are a maintanence thing. seems almost everyday they want something, kinda like a girlfriend. seals, charging, oil ect etc. if it is gunna be a daily driver, i always suggest air.

Go ahead and put some airstruts on it......you will kick your self in the face when your done. They suck.

I had hydros on my mac strut saturn, it was a lot lower than most of them with air cylinders. Oris had cylinders on the same type of vehicle and his went just as low, but I never saw his mounts.

HYDRAULICS ARE ONLY A MAINTENANCE PROBLEM WHEN YOU BUY THEM FROM THE PPL IN MAGAZINES AND ONLINE. WHY?.....BECAUSE THEIR CYLINDERSAND INTERNALS ON THE PUMPS ARE CHEAPER SOFTER METAL. LOOK AROUND WHILE YOU ARE DRIVIN AND PEEK AT ALL THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT OUT THERE. 6000 HOURS OF HEAVY DUTY WORK AND JUST START TO SHOW LEAKAGE AND THATS LIFTING 6 TO 10 TONS 8 HOURS A DAY.As for the battery charging well yes it can be a pain but heres an old idea.....the battery charger you bought that fits on your bench doesnt take up all the space inside that tin box. Disassemble a repackage into a smaller space in your truck.
If you didnt like my first idea well why not buy 4 extra cylinders from the start and when one gets leaky just switch it out and reseal the old one when you have time.

thanks guys. anyone have pics of know where i could find pics of the setup in the front? im not 100% sure how the cylinder mounts to the vehicle.

this is all just homework right now, but id like to juice the next vehicle im getting.

also as far as charging goes, doesnt a streetcharger work pretty well? im not gonna do a crazy ass 8 battery setup or anything.

some people hollow out their struts and mount the cylinder inside them. On mine we just welded on tabs that fit the knuckle on the suspension but I wouldn't recommend that because welding to the rod can warp it

I had a street charger on 4 bats at 24 volts and never had any problems, but I never tried hopping or any of that mess either
