92 ranger help

i have a 92 ranger that has a 4.0 auto and i want to do a 302 swap. does anyone know if my trans will bolt up to a v8?

no im pretty sure it wont. the best bet for a 5spd would be probably be a T5. For an auto, I know a c4 will work but it doesn't have overdrive. If you want overdrive, I think an AOD will work. Just make sure its not the AODE (which requires a separate computer).
