Looking at your pictures, its a no brainer. You ruin carrier bearings because you have a two link. Does it every time.

come on now russ... 2-links don't change your pinion angle that much.... HAHAHA.

I love 2-links.

fyi - that was all very full of sarcasm.

I wasnt picking on him, everyone has to start somewhere. I think he bought the truck like that because I seem to remember that same truck owned by someone else.

But I took the 2 link that was on my truck off and thrwe it away because, even bag over axle, it moved the rear end back and forth about 2 inches. That right there spells death for carrier bearings. I cant imagine how much it moves with bag over bar, which is what he has. There is probably 30 degrees of pinion change too, which will easily trash a carrier bearing.

Long story short: get a 4 link.

And if you didnt have the hubs redrilled for those navigator wheels, you might want to think about that too, The bolt pattern is not the same, and they only fit by bending the studs.

make sure slipjoint is lubed up good. if not it might be pulling on the carrier bearing

I've got a set of Mazda axles that are redrilled for the Navi lug pattern, you can put studs in either pattern. Shoot me a message if you're interested in buying them.
