You need a disc-disc master cylinder as well. Its a good idea at least. I got all the parts to do mine for under $200. Loaded calipers, rotors, brake lines, master cylinder, and hardware.
To do it cheap, get 84-86 Mustang SVO rotors. Pronto brand are about $25 each retail. Get some 79-88 Monte Carlo calipers. They fit the discs, and they're cheap because they are chevy parts. Mine were $40 each, and that includes a $15 core. For the master, get on off of a '96 Land Cruiser with 4 wheel discs, and non-ABS. It fits the stock booster.
