make a paper/tape pattern trace it onto metal leaving some extra use ur knee pipes whatever it takes to get shape close(unless u have equiptment) trail fit alot and adjust(beat on with hammer dolly etc) once u have it real close start tacking in and trimming to fit better and work slowly hammer and dolly where needed to get shape closer. Needs to be really close to right so not much filler is needed. I would suggest having a shop do it if u havent successfully shaved at least door handles etc before.....................

u can fiberglass some. Use your stock tails as a mold. Its incredably easy, metal ones would be sweet too. Guess it depends what u want. Metal ones can take some time to fabricate but well worth it. I glassed mine took me about a day to glass them, mold them in and straighten them out.

Metal is somethin I would have done but I am not a metal perfectionist and my tailights would be a bitch to do.heres a pic from a lil over a yr back when i did mine. If someone puts down fiberglasses lights and tells you they will crack the moment u hit the road they r way wrong. I drive my car all them time ive even grabbed my car by one of the glassed tailights and tried shaking the crap out of it. They are not moving and r very strong. I think that most of the people that have problems with them did something wrong.I used panel bond to mold them in. then on part of the light I had used Evercoat reinforced compound filler basically its like everglass mixed with fiberglass strands. It worked great.

I guarantee u on a hot ass day u can see line where tail filler meets metal though man. Metal to Metal welded solid is only way to do it right..............

The '94 Accord doesn't have as much curve as many other imports, so it should be one of the easier cars to shave out- maybe only 2 pieces per side without much hammer/dolly work. Great car to start on if you've already done door handles before! Go metal if you think you can- fiberglass may be easier to do, but it won't last as long as steel!
