Well, I've been in on a few mini truck baggings, but I was just wondering...

How would I go about bagging an old 60's batwing boat.

I want to do something like a 1966 Chrysler 300 or something like that... the front end should be no biggie... Basically just replace the shock and spring with a bag, and build a custom top A-arm and plates, but the back end I don't know where to start.

Thanks,- CK

don't have any pics. I don't have an old car yet, I was just wondering if it's exponentially tougher to bag an older car than it is to bag a truck... I would think an old car would be easier, but I'm not quite familiar enough with cutting up old cars to properly judge this... I'm not going to go as low as possible with this car... I want it bagged, yeah, but I don't need to scrape... That's what my truck will be built for, granted I don't sell it for the 300...

I don't even know if I'll need to notch it... I just want her to tuck a bit while rolling, and tuck a bit further while parked...

Many of the earlier cars had small coil springs (really tall tho,) this makes the spring pocket too small to fit the right bag.

The rear ends can be done on the leafs, but the small leafs (typically 1 3/4" wide) don't offer very much support when only running 2 or 3 leafs. So if you plan on running and horsepower I would seriously think about a 4-link.
