debating whether i wanna keep my dash or build a sheetmetal dash.... just looking for some ideas, so post up some dashes in fullsize chevy's please

charles, u know u would rather spend hours glassin another dash...lmao...btw that dash sucks ass now..i know it was straight when we put it, but last time i saw it it was like an ocean!

I don't have one built yet but my idea was this... I have an 89 fullsize. And i am just gonna build one to match the factory dash. However it's gonna be the same shape as the passenger side. Basically im gonna build a replica without the big gaudy gauge pod thing where the gauges are at now. That way it still flows with the factory interior and matches the door panels. And it's gonna be easy cause i just need a big piece of sheet metal bent 3 times the just mount it and install the sunpro gauges. Sorry no pictures but maybe that gives you an idea to play with. wow it's funny you mention that, because that's one of the ideas i was thinking about... have it basically like the stock dash without the huge square guage cluster

Y'all are bacically desribing the dash I built for my truck. Sorry don't know how to post pictures yet. If someone would that would be cool. But for sure go with the metal dash it the only way!
