Ford Ranger 2.3 Air Intake?

I've seen several ford rangers with the 2.3 4-cylinder engine and aftermarket intake systems. I haven't really found very many available online though. I seen a couple on ebay but they were like $250, and thats too much in my opinion. Is there an intake you can buy for another car/truck that has the correct bends and everything to fit the ranger? Maybe for a cheaper ammount?

Hey bro.. I have a 96 ford ranger with an intake on it.. Its my work truck.. I don't need it really.. I would rather have stock on it.. Where do you live at? if your not to far away I would work something out with ya to make a trade.. The one I have is a Kurt Racing if I'm not mistaking.. i had a 2.9 V-6 and made one with the help of bill carlton, all we used was some 3 inch electrical conduit and some metal laying around his yard for mounts, worked freakin great IMO

i have a honda civic EDX you use on the v6), then youll just have to buy another 3 in rubber connctor ring and MAF adapter.

civic intake from autozone = less than $100 by the time it's all said and done.

I MADE AN ADAPTER OUT OF SOME SARE SHEETMETAL TOOK ABOUT 30 MIN AND USED MY STOCK BLACK TUBING AD JUST PUT AN AUTOZONE AIRINTAKE FILTER WHICH I BOUGHT FOR ABOUT $20 BUCKS --- WORKS GOOD -- NO PROBLEMS WITH IT YET !!! OH AND THEN MY FRIEND TOLD ME INSTEAD OF MAKING HIS ADAPTER YOU ACTUALLY CAN BUY IT FROM AUTOZONE FOR A FEW DOLARS --- SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND JUST BUY THE ADAPTER ---

yea i've been pokin around on ebay and it looks like the civic intake has the closest bends to our stock tube. I will probably buy that and get the adapter and be good to go. Thanks guys

I used the civic one and then bought the maf adapter for it to attach it to the tubing.
