My body shop is going to paint my mirrors and door handles for me but on the door handles on my 98 tahoe there is a black rubber gasket around the handle the guy at the bodyshop said he didnt think paint would stick to that and thought it would look like shit with white handles and then a little black outline around it....I know 99caddys had painted to match handles do they also have color matched gaskets from the factory?
nope, your gunna have little black around it. it looks fine,. you wont even notice it. you can leave it off, but it leaves a noticable gap. dont paint it youll be fine.
