And since the ecu is gone, do I need an 02 sensor any more?

the carb conversion is great, I love the b2200, but that octapussy of hosses sucks ass... thats the only way to go.

I plan to do this swap later on this year. But I have to keep my stock carb and intake in a box somewhere for smog season.

Where did you get the kit on ebay? Best price I've found was like $389. But I am looking for a different truck. Lol.

It's 4:54 am. just finished putting the header on.

yeah, a weber for my '77 620 was like $650.

I don't understand? When you switch to the webber carb you eliminate the O2 sensor completely and the ECU as well! How does this work?? I am just curious, looking to do the swap myself!

Thanks

think about it. what on you truck requires a brain? the only thing is the carb. no carb,no ecu. everything else is mechanical.

Yes!!!!!Currently have 2 mazdas, both with weber carbs and NO o2 or ECU. The stock distributer runs off ignition key, not computer so there is no conflict there (1986 - 1993). Stock idiot lights may have issues - just depends on ow well you do with hacking out unused wires.
