One way I have seen, don't know if it's a good or bad idea! Drill four hole in your floor to match the mounts on the seat, use long threaded rods cut for the height and two nuts at the bottom one under the floor and one on top of the floor, do the same at the top of the threaded rod to mount the seat. repeat this step for all four legs of the seat. again i don't know if this is a good or bad idea!

this will sound redneck but it's not permanent just a way to get a measurement. Toss the seats in the truck and sit in'em. See if there high enough to for you to see over the steering wheel and what not. Then put something under'em untill there the highth you want then i just used a 4x4 wood post mounted it to the seat then bolted it to the floor. You have to notch out some of the wood for the seat sliding mechanism. The reason i used wood is because i used accord seats in a fullsize and i need them 4inches higher than bolten them directly to the floor. So once you get the mounted as high as you want them take what ever you use *in my case wood* and use that as a template to make a steel mounting bracket. Then just mount the bracket you make to the seats and mount the whole thing to the floor. I havent gotten to the steel part. My seats are still on the wood blocks. Hahaha i got sidetracked and forgot all about them untill i read this post. Or if there already high enough just drill the wholes and put a washer on first then put the bolt in place and put a washer on the underneath side and tighten them down. Hope that helps. Like i said kinda redneck but hey it worked for me. Well any more questions let me know. I've done the swap to buckets a few times. later bro.

whne i put Celica buckets in my tacoma, i cut the brackets off, then dropped them (to raise the seat some) and had the welded on to bolt in the stock holes. Put the extra time it, you'll be glad you did later instead of having 8 holes in your truck
