i need a small brake booster for my 87

What year brake booster do i need to swap to and what parts do i need to swap to disks it the back?

in my chevy i just got a 2 lb residual valve and did away with the 10 lb that is associated with drums. hope this helps

ive did some looking around so corect me if im wrong but the 98-02 w auto trans booster will bolt up and so will the 96 land cruiser master w/o abs will bolt to that cool im half way there. wounder if the camery stuff from the outher thread will work with my axle? does my axle have the same flange as the newer trucks? hmmmmmm

Get a booster from a 79-83 2WD truck. They're 8" diameter and will still stop fine. It will bolt up to the Cruiser MC. In that other thread I assembled a list of parts that do work, and they're easily had for under $200.

hey seth ya dont have an extra set of caliper brakets layen around if you do i would gladly copensate you for them.

I havent made mine yet. I think I may have foudn a place that sells them, but I think they may be for a 3" axle...

has anyone tryied adapting the explorer disc brakes to this axle? i know the jeep guys use them on there trucks.
