Saturday, my buddy and I attended the www.missouricarry.com picnic and got an extremely rare opportunity to play around with a Glock 18 with 33 round magazines filled with tracer rounds! For those that don't know what a Glock 18 is, it's a FULLY automatic 9mm pistol that looks no different from the rest of the Glock pistol line-up. Now I'm sure many people have fired various types of guns, but how many can say that they've had the chance to fire one of those?! BTW.... from what I understand, there are only 60 Glock 18's in the United States, and the one that I got a chance to play with cost the owner $18,000 to obtain! I got a chance to see and play with a lot of different types of pistols, revolvers, assault rifles, and an UZI yesterday, but I think that Glock 18 was probably the most special gun out there.... AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE GLOCKS!

That's pretty awesome, I'm actually surprised the pistol wasn't worth more than 18 grand. There are only about 250,000 transferable 'True' machine guns (Not including legally registered conversions, like a lot of Ruger Mini-14's and such) in the US. That number is actually falling every day as people buy them up, because a machinegun is actually a very good investment. It goes without saying that rarity makes them very valuable, and very expensive. I'm a member of a gun club back home in FL, and a few guys have a bunch of machine guns, and other NFA weapons and accessories.. I'd say the coolest MG I ever got to shoot is a supressed M-16, it was freakin sweet.. Just last week while I was visiting home I help one of the older guys in our club test out his Mini-14 after he fixed it.. Nothing like running 200-300 rounds through a MG for free. You ever think of going to Knob Creek for the machine gun shoot? I really want to go this year but I'm stuck in school.

I haven't heard anything about this event. Where will it be located?
