well I started my frame 2 yars ago, mainly just working on it in my spare time (which isn't much) and yesterday and today we finally set the ab down on it and I put my new wheels on. So here is my thread on the progress from here on out

The beginning 6 years ago when I got my truck

3 years ago when I first bagged it, 2 five gallons, 2 450's, front back and a two link, nice dependable setup that got dragged daily

the start of the frame 2 years ago

my truck layin frame on 22's about two years ago

my truck as it sat right before I took it apart

the frame at texas heatwave 06

the old 2 link setup

tearing the truck apart

cab off finally

cab gutted

frame almost completely fabbed up

cab finally on

front setup, all stock parts, 3/4 ton uppers, stock spindles, arms, steering lays on 22's WITHOUT drop spindles

rear setup, tri 4 link from suicide doors, all my own brackets to mount the bags on the bars in a 2.75:1 ratio

lays hard as hell

finally got the 24's centerline encino 24 x 10 on 305/35R24 wanli's, no cheating 275/25R24's here

the front is 1" from laying with stock spindles, so once I get my drop spindles reamed out it will lay no problem

that's all the progress at the moment, I still have to build my shock mounts, fuel cell and air tank mounts, compressor mounts, a new firewall and tranny tunnel. Plans also call for a 2" chop top, fully shaved cab seams and back wall, built 350 with a tunnel ram, and a sheetmetal dash and center concole. A new body style escalade front clip, fully shaved and molded rear and a nice coat of flat black once the body work is completed

questions and comments will be well appreciated, I don't build this truck for shows or money, I build it to see the smile on peoples faces and the ones who say, nice, I like it

I used 1ton arms also..(well the 3/4 ton and 1 tons are the same.) They work pretty damn good. I used a 2002 Ford Lightning balljoint. Truck looks good man.
