I have always been curious to how they work...do you hook up a valve to each port? Or what? How are they supposed to be hooked up? Thanks in advance..

Unless you want to run 16 valves and go ballistic, most people run one port for lift and one for dump. The response time with this setup is faster than T'ing the dump off, so it makes a slight difference.
From there, you COULD run a separate lift valve to each port, which could get you hopping like crazy!

Other options include using the extra port for your gauge sending unit/ line, plumbing a "slow" set of valves into the extra port so you have the option of not slamming to the pavement... There are a lot of ways you can use them, but it's most commonly used to increase speed.

yeah what Phil said. ive got some dual port re7s up front on mine. 1 port for fill & 1 port for dump. when i had bags over axle in the rear i had dual ports back there too,but since moving them just got single ports now.
