shouldnt the driveshaft go in further? it slides that far and clunks, i didnt see anything in the tranny or driveshaft....

mine grinds when i let off the gas n it jumps up n down when the backs all the way down.....i havent checked what its hittin.....but last time i checked it was clickin alot when the back was down n i guess it was just the rear fuckin up....so i cant drag the back until i figure somethin out

yes it should go in further when suspension was messed with the wheel base was prolly not set right and justin your problem is the pinion angle when you bagged it it was not set

did you change your tranny or drive shaft if so check your splines in the tranny and the drive shaft that might be your problem if its not that then i dont know what it could be

my buddy had a problem on his frontier where the driveshaft wouldnt slide all the way in. the problem was a bur on the output shaft of the tranny. ran a small file down the splines and it went in just fine.

this is a customers truck im building, there is no suspension in the new frame yet. im pretty sure its the driveshaft that went with that motor/tranny, but the truck didnt come assembled.

so how do you set the pinion angle...ive never messed w that....we just put the roadgrater kit on n rolled w it....but its been grindin since i bought it....i always rode w the back low n the front reg ride height so i know that didnt help it either.....but i need 2 get it fixed

pinion angle is set by adjusting your link bars. when you adjust the bars re check your angle at RIDE HIEGHT. it should be about +2 degrees
