My truck is throwing this code and all I can find information on says Injector Circuit Malfuntion. Is this talking about the wiring/circuitry or is it meaning the bank of injectors? Stupid ass OBD II is pissing me off. I'm still pouring gas out of the driver side header. I've replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, pulled and cleaned the injectors. Nothing. Any input/help is greatly appreciated.

one of your injectors is stuck open. Since injectors are batch fired it is not an ecu problem.

on batch fired injection systems, there are only two injector pulses. This means that half the injectors fire each time ONE intake valve is open, and the other half fire each time ONE intake valve in an adjacent cylinder is open. This is contrary to a sequential system where each injector has its own pulse only when the intake valve on the injectors cylinder is open. (think of your spark plugs as sequential where there is only one spark event per cylinder every other revolution of the crank, although even some newer DIS systems are "wasted spark" meaning they fire twice like batch systems!)

I explain this not to confuse you, but to suggest the problem is in just ONE injector and not the wiring or ECU, because if it were either of those, the batch wiring would have gas coming from BOTH headers.

Pull them, stick the tips in mineral spirits for a few hours, then cycle them (VERY quickly) with a low current 12v source, like a small power supply for a charger or something. Failing that, you will need at least one injector. With it stuck open, all 40 psi of the fuel pressure is just spraying continuously in the cylinder. Pull the plugs and see which one is gas fouled.
