Name of program??

I need to know what kind of program I can use to take one big photo and break in down into smaller pieces for the internet. I know i can use photoshop, but is there a program designed for this?

and photoshop is your best bet for it

imageready comes bundled with photoshop and its good for web design to a certain point.

macromedia fireworks and dreamweaver are better for web design but ive always sliced in photoshop and imported it to dreamweaver

now that macromedia and adobe are the same company... the next creative suite should dominate

agreed, only thing i could say it to use imageready. like he said, it comes with photoshop. there is a button at the bottom of your tool bar that has 2 icons and an arrow. click that and it will automaticly export over to IR. then you can slice it, dice it, and make it all nice. you can then let adobe transfer it to GoLive which i prefer. but exporting to Dreamweaver works fine for others. also like he said, the next CS package is going to kick ass with the combination off the top 10 or so programs bundled into one...

Cool, thank you.. ^^^ I am trying to work on my website. I came up with another template to use and I like it better than what I have now. Actually after working on it for a little bit, I found that I don't really need it yet. My old website is still up http://www.chosn1.com I quite working on it though

for simple stuff, thumbs plus works well. But PS is the best out there.
