Yes i have mine setup to run a modified mustang II setup. Its 4 inches wider than stock so a wider rack is required.

A few key points when building a frame is set everything up at rideheight.. know right where that is with your tire height and exactly where your spindle will be setting and a jig would help forsure. Also look into the geometry of the suspension and don't just make something that wortks.. make sure it works properly. Seeing that you started this post shows you want to. I will PM you someimportant info alil later hopefully tonight.

I don't think that there is enought room in a forum to present all of the issues and "watch outs" of front suspension design.

No. You don't want the suspension to stay parallel through it's entire travel.

No. The tierod should not always be parallel to the lower arm.

What spindle are you starting with?
How much travel do you want?
Do you know what Ackerman is?
If so,do you know how to use it?

I've seen well known shops fail and have to start over. Please do your homework first!

Anybody that is truely interested IM me and I will send you the article I wrote for StreetTrucks a couple years ago. It explains most of it...
