How to C-Notch my frame?

What should I use to cut the frame of my 1999 F-150? I don't want to remove my bed or my gas tank. Think I could do it with a saws-all?

use a sawsall or a torch, plasma cutter!!! jut be careful and make sure you have the exact spot on both sides and then make sure to reinforce it all

its gona be alot easier if u take the bed off it only takes a couple minutes. also your gona need a welder unless you have a bolt in notch

The bed is like 4 bolts generally and then the gas neck. I couldn't imagine how much of a bitch it would be to notch your frame with the bed on That'd be irritating and too cramped for me, unless you're like 4'8".

its its a pain in the ass to notch a suv wihout cuttin the floor out or takig the body off

YOU'D BE DUMB TO NOT TAKE THE BED OFF. MINES A 99 IT ONLY TAKES 15 MIN TO GET IT OFF.

and 2 guys, i would def undo the six bolts and the gas neck and its off, 15 mins top. that will cut down ur notchin time down by atleast an hour i bet, and ull be able to make sure everything is exactly square and parrelel
