i saw this truck at dropsicles meltdown in sept.
was impressed as it rolled up to the show.
then i got to really look at it. all of the bumpers/ side moldings are made of styrofoam!!! some parts of the truck look ok. others do not, and dont think they ever will. i give the guy mad credit for his ideas and time involved, but i would be surprised if it ever gets to paint. and how would the paint last on the styrofoam?
it did turn alot of heads (good or bad)
i have some more pics of it ill try to post.
id love to see it done, but it needs alot of work!

LMAO I am very surprised at how many ppl have respect for someone elses ideas and its great. Ya the truck is UNDER CONSTRUCTION duh and the the body is slowly making the transititon. In fact the body is just a mold in progress and thats why there is foam.Eventually the truck exterior will all be a composite material as the motor thats getting built for this is around 800 to 1200 hp.He is collecting aluminum tubing right now to build a frame which is why there is a stock frame right now.If I knew how to post a video you would see his other truck thats stretched and painted with twin turbos but just needs the interior to be finished. Ill blazer I hope you dont say anything too nasty cuz there there is something to be said about 1st year sheet metal apprentice skills that just cut and bend square shapes. Lets see some english wheel magic then you can hate.Other than that props to the ppl that see through the primer and encourage others to keep progressin.

the light covers still have protective film and so do the mirrors.....thats because he likes to work with composite materials not just metal.

Hmmmm. Yea I dunno I'd have to see it finished. Cool Idea but it looks a little rough but hey it's still in primer. And it's definately built off of a 1st gen. Blazer. One look at the windshield will tell you that.

The blue headlight lenses were made from a wood buck and then the heated plastic was vacummed formed over the mold. The stretched truck looks the same as it did last time I saw it 3 years ago.
Get Darren to finish it.
