need help on proper tire fitment

Alright my truck is a 05 ranger with a djm 4/5 drop om it I curently am running the stock wheels and tires on it thanks to the nice Missouri roads with the pot holes everywhere. Anyway on the truck right now is 225-70/r15 i am rubbing on the inner fenderwell I have already removed the plastic inner fenders just have that partial metal inner fender have now made modifications to where if it does rub it will at least rub flat on the tire instead of rubbing a grove down into the tire I'm wanting to try to stay around the same size for the speedo settings what would something like a 215-70r15 or a 225-65/r15 do to me as far as the speedo settings go

any help would be helpful.
