Hey I'v got a 98 S-10 bagged with the 5link rear end. I have some horrible feeling coming through the shifter it seems like the driveshaft might be pushing into the trans.Could this be the problem? Thanks

dont shorten the driveshaft --- its a problem with the link install not the driveshaft !!!

So does that mean that the pumpkin is too close to the trans. as in the axel is sitting to far forward
BAGD RANGER   +1y
i could just mean they didnt sit the pinion angle right and maybe they have the rear end a bit forward --- in that case you will hear some ruff grinding --

if it is a suicide 5-link then you may have to shorten I am going to guess your truck is a 2000 or newer reg. cab? mine had to be shortened. no matter what you do.go on the s-10 cult forum and look it up.
