I have a 94 toyota ext cab. It has a vibration when I have the back down and cruiseing. It has a full reverse 4 link and I know they suck I hate it but I put a panhard bar on it and it rides good. Didnt want to move the gas tank. When you raise it up the vibration goes away. Pinion angle? Do you need to do anything to the swing bearing to be able to lay the truck out? Other question. My gas tank is almost on the ground scared im going to drag it or puncture it with something in the road. Has anybody ever taken a gas take from a regular cab and put it under the extra cab? I have one and it is smaller. Thanks for yalls help.

Well i may end up doing that cause i would like to change to a forward 4 link. Just want to keep it kinda simple on this one cause it is my every dayer right now. When i started on it i was going to make it bad ass now i just want to drive it. and work on my 53.

Heres my idea on fixing the problem. All forward links, gas tank is 2" above the bottom of the frame.

You could still do something similar. Or like you said, swap a standard cab tank in.

check to make sure your driveshaft isnt hitting a corssmember when laid out, that is a common problem on 89-95 toyotas. There is almost always a crossmember under the cab that needs notched or the driveshaft will lay on it.

the std cab gas tank will fit very well sideways between the framerails behind the axle, thats the way I had my 89 when it got linked.
