what do i need to fit 24's on 2006 gmc 1500 bagged

my friend has a bd truck on 24's that will fit 26's it has 05 chevy clip on it and the hood was notched, doesnt go through the hood

i believe Ekstensive did an Avalanche stock floored on 26s a couple years ago with stock hood, avalanche has same front end as a new chevy truck. then they did the escalade with the stock hood b/d on 26s but not sure if the escalade hood sits any higher than a chevy/gmc hood or not.



The one they did a couple of yrs ago is Hanks and it is on 24s. The one they just recently is on 26s with stock metal. Hedbusr on here

yea thats my firends now , and they just had to notch the hood for the wheels

i want to do a chevy hd hood for my gmc because i think they look bad a$$ on a gmc

i flipped the uca to the underside of the stock spindle and i have a djm 4in drop lca and made my own bag cups

and im laying on studded 245/75/16's right now with stock brake set up

built my own edc 210 york set up, tranny crossmember, bag cups, watts link out of dom,intake box

im waiting for trailer fenders to come in the mail and the shock kit for up front

moving everything under the hood was pretty ez, the only thing that gave me alittle trouble was the fuse box, i know most people move it next to the alt but i have my edc right their,so i took the fuse box apart and turned it on its side and made mounts for it right in front of the brake set up

i got battery post fromhttps://www.stellmar.com/index.phptook the battery from under the hood out, and i had a 2nd red top behind the x-cab seat so im running off of that right nowbut im gonna put the other red top back in when i start my bed thur for my 18, ones im done bagging this thing

made my own intake box, and made mounts for the coolant overflow tank between the a/c hard line and motor

pretty much it for under the hood

You say 24s like its a big thing anymore with the size tires they have now its equivalent to a 22" wheel/tire combo with some meat instead of a rubber bandlike pancho's silverados

yeah the 275/25/24 is like 29.4 witch is pretty much the same size as 265/35/22's

the size i plan to roll with is 275/30/24's, 30.5

by the way, nice frame u have anymore pic of it?
