ok, to measure for the body drop:
take a straight edge thats the width of the truck. butt it up against the bottom of the frame and measure from the straight edge to the rocker. should be in the neighborhood of 3-3.5" on a s-10.

measure to clear notch:

i would say the easiest way is to knock off a rear wheel and lay one of your notch side plates against the frame. measure from the bottom of the bed floor to the top of the notch. might want to add .5" to be safe.

add these 2 numbers together and thats how much youll need to raise your bedfloor.

you can make spacers to mount the bed much like a body lift.

sorry for the caps i was at work. what gauge sheet metal would you guys use for the inner bed sides cause i want to make them flat and what size trailer fenders should i use for a 27 inch total diameter wheel tire combo

s10 needs a 6" notch to lay on a 20" rim with a 27-28" tall tire.

a 2nd gen s10 needs 3" bodydrop to lay rocker hard enough where it looks badass.. i've heard of ppl going 2.75 and laying but it lays the very edge of the rocker.

when you're looking at trailer fenders, they give you the diamter, find some that will clear.
