help..... wrond kind of tranny fluid..

my friends got a a 90 chevy fullsize automatic with a 305. and he added some tranny fluid but he put a half quart of ATF+4... the kind of fluid for chryslers... and its not a dexron fluid.... did he just f' his tranny up??? is it gonna be alright or will he have to drain it?

Edit: the bottle says its "not recommened" for trannys with dexron or type f fluid...
