To get it to lay the front crossmember you have to either shorten the stock LCA or buy the Ekstensive arms. I would just buy the EK arms. Then you need to raise the Uppers 4 or 5 inches. Your can go either. EK told me to go 4 but 5 worked out better for me. You need to flip the tie rod end, and ream the spindle for the EK ball joint or flip the stock ball joint. Remove the spring cup and bump stop. Put in a bag plate. Then tub the hell out of the firewall. That's just to lay the crossmember. To get it to lay you will have to remvoe the stock air box, move the battery, move the computers, raise the wiring harness, raise fuse box, move abs, reroute an a/c line, raise the exhaust a little, and cut alot of shit. For a body drop you would have to z the frame anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 inches so it will lay true rail. WHen you z the frame you will also need to raise the transmission crossmember the equal amount. Then clearance the fan shroud, transmission tunnel, probably cut more out of the firewall. That's just the front. The back you would need a 10 inch notch, fuel cell, narrowed rearend, and a link setup. I think I got everything but if I didn't maybe someone else can chime in. There's alot of good pics in profiles also. The search button is your friend. I don't know how the motor will effect the procedure. I have the little 4.7. LOL

damn, thats alot of work when you look at it like that. but its probably about the same for any newer truck on a body drop.

be glad you arent trying to chop it on stock glass or section the body. lol.
