ok, so i've been taking time to fix all the stuff the previous owner of my truck screwed up. when he shaved the doors, most of that was done right, except he cut the rod for the interior door handles and ran the cable for the solenoid where the interior handle rod was supposed to go. i made a quick fix with bicycle brake cable, but i got the new rods ordered. my question, where is the best place to run the wire? i was thinking of just drilling a small hole just big enough for the cable right below the original hole. or maybe sodering it to the rod. any help would be appreciated. pictures would be great.

i ran mine through the outside door handle rod hole. doin it to hte INT. one keeps it from locking.

well i don't have any locks on it. and the exterior ones are broke. so i'm trying to make do with what i have. this truck is nothing but a headache right now.
