ive thought about it, but the toyota motor is like 4inches longer than the g200 i have. its possible. but its just like puttin a v8 in it... just too much hassle.

Well the motor i have in mine is shot and lookin to put something new in that is somewhat good on gas but yet i can get performance parts for, thats the reason i was lookin towards the toyota motor. But i have also seen a sight that sells the isuzu motor with some goodies for around $1500. Anyone know of a site for performance isuzu engine parts??

depemds on what isuzu motor it is...

if its a g series engine, go for the impulse g200. they come with flattop pistons. then get a g180 head, do a port, polish and valve job on it along with a reground cam. port the stock intake a bit, and use a weber 32/36. then get a header and run 2 1/4in exhaust.

if its a 4Z motor, find a turbo system off a impulse.

the toyota motor would be an easier and cheaper motor to upgrade. if i had the money and a 22r sittin around id prolly cram it in the pup...
