So i have seen alot of people doing 4x4 sheet metal on the beds to match the front and to get more room. So are they using front fenders and molding them in or i heard that rear quarter panels off a 2 door pathfinder are just as wide? does anyone have any advice orpics. Thanks

THE RED AND WHITE HB IVE BEEN TOLD IS PATHFINDER THE OTHER TWO YOU CAN TELL ARE FENDERS BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE BULDGE IS A LITTLE CANTED TO ME BUT IVE HERD THATS WHAT IS DONE AND THE TWO WITH THE FENDERS ARE EACH DONE A LITTLE DIFFERNT METHOD IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY

That rearward slope from using the 4x4 fenders might look really good when it's all done- I can't wait to see that!

yo yo the red and grey one is 4x4 front fenders , using the front fenders is easier due to not having to deal with a seam from the pathy door let alone cutting that off the pathy nicely, also i personally like the fenders sloping forward but to each his own hope that helps!!

i dont mean to thread jack or anything... but im just needed a little info on why people use 4x4 fenders... im guessing that they are wider and allow for wider rims to tuck? do the fronts bolt on to a stock 2x4 setup? the reason i ask is that i already have to replace my front fenders and i was wondering if i should just go ahead and put 4x4's on there now...does the same pritty much go for toyotas? cause im working on a hardbody and a 2x4 toyota reg cab shortbeds... thanks guys...

4x4 fenders on a toy and niss are wider and give more clearance for the wheels if your replacing fenders id go for the 4x4 for the extra room

yes, they are a little wider and allow for a little more room for a wider rim or rim that doesn't have a lot of positive offset. and I personally think that grafting the 2 door pathfinder rear fenders looks better, they don't have as much of a slant like using the 4x4 front fenders on the back
