just curious.. i've only got 17's and i want to start building a frame for it while i still drive it... i have an extra frame and i will need the spindles on it sometime when i get ready to bag the front. I think it should still come close but want to know if anyone is laying with stockies. thanks

emmmm, well most of my frame lays but I could use another inch in the front. My ball joints are maxed out and limiting my ability to get a bit lower in the front. I am pretty low though, I mean, I notched and boxed the frame so the stock lca could go up into it but the ball joints are the limiting factor right now. convert the spindle to the 88+ so you can run a drop spindle or use a toyota spindle setup...just my .02.
btw, this is on a 84 pup with 17s on 195 40 17's

if your not layin cause your upper balljoint is binding then just cut the front of the control arm and adjust the angle of them a few degrees and weld them back up. you can do it with them still installed will take you all of 20 minutes to do both sides

I have an 88 Pup, stock floored 4" on 20's with stock spindles and control arms. The only problem that I have is the front arm that goes to the radiator support. The bushings keep me from laying out. I have about 1" to go. I'm going to remake the bottom control arm and remove that piece. Should lay after that.

I got my 95 to lay on 17's with only having to notch the LCA's to clear the frame. Or you can notch the frame...whatever you want. then all you have to do to lay 20's is get a 2" drop spindle and viola!!! Your laying 20's. Check out my profile and you can see how and where I notched the LCA.

DAMN IT, *smacking self*I dint think of that rizzo, good call. We just moved to a new house so I need to get 220 run and I will get that done. Just take a pie cut out of the upper or should both upper and lower be done?
