I decided to mess around with ideas for my truck and this is what i came up with...Crew cab colorado with a longer bed, rear air suspension, CST lift, 35s on 20s, and a couple shaved parts...
cst is shit unless its for a fullsize chevy or the long travel f150
if you want a killer lift hit up FTS and have them build you a dope setup
or if you know how to work or have access to a waterjet or tracer torch and a tube bender and a welder you could do it yourselfcolorados are sick when they are lifted
theres one in town with the camburg 3.5" coilover conversion lift in town and its reallllly clean its not huge but they have that agressive look
i just looked at cst and camburgs site
and cst is just a spindle lift.. while camburg is full coilover... meaning you could use both kits.. the 5 inch lift spindle with the camburg a arms and coilover.. would give you about 8.5 - 10" lift for the front and the coilovers and you would get about 10-12" inches of wheel travel and u could keep stock fenders and could womp all over it
you'd have to get all new brake lines and im sure the drop pitman arm and all that steering stuff would come with camburg
i wanted to build a long travel colorado but the suspension sucks and is waaaay to much money to completely rebuild
i mean look at all this crapi remember when they first came out people were sayin they couldnt be layed out and everyone was too scared to try..who knows in a couple years there might be a kickass offroad lift for these
