engine wont turn over

ok we just put a newly rebuilt motor into my 1987 4runner and it wont turn over now at all. everything is hooked up correctly. and b4 we installed it we could turn it over with a wrench and now we cant even do tht. idk wat could be wrong ne help

WAS THERE OIL IN IT WHEN YOU TURNED IT BY HAND? USUALLY WHEN A MOTOR IS REBUILT, THEY DONT SHIP THEM WITH OIL. ALSO, WHERE DID YOU GET IT REBUILT AT? DOES THE STARTER CLICK LIKE IT WANTS TO TURN AND CANT? ALMOST LIKE SOMETHING IS JAMMED UP AND WONT LET IT TURN.

ya it clicks but it cant like its jammed

is ur batt fully charged? is your starter good?

starter is good... and battery should be we tried to jump it to

ok... it start but dies right away...cuz the engine isnt getting any gas any help

it took me 20 mins to prime my pump after I took the fuel line of this last time and the only time the pump pumps when the truck is not running is when you are cranking it
