Ok, i have a 97 Tahoe 4 door. I don't want to put much into it but I would like to either raise it a few inches so I could fit some 35s or static drop maybe 3 inches with 18s? Also, I took the luggage rack off and need to know what I can do to fill the holes.

Is it 4 wheel or 2 wheel. It all depends. The thing about lifting is that you can doing anything and go anywhere. Although 2 wheel isnt as good as 4 wheel. but also you got a lower truck, but then again lifting a 2 wheel is useless to me. So if it's 4 wheel lift it. 2 wheel lower it.

What up, Ken! The way I see it, you already have a truck laying flat. You might as well go up this time to have the best of both worlds. My friend removed the rack on his Expedition and all we did was take the hardware that was on there originally and insert rubber washers on them and then reinstall them. Unless you want to shave them. By the way, missed ya at the Crime Pays Video dvd release. Don't worry, I had some beers for you!

Vince, yea, its a 2wd

Chris, I wanted to go. Me and the wife planned on going the night before but we woke up and one thing led to another and... you know But I am kinda leaning towards lift also. just not sure. All the trucks here in Tyler are lifted. Well... most of them anyway.

yea, what I always go by is if its 2wd then you always lower it if anything, and only lift a truck if its 4wd
